About Us
TAMBUA UTU foundation is a non-governmental organization that advocates for the rights of people with disabilities (PWD’s). The foundation is seeking to ensure PWD’s rights are equally guaranteed and they are able to access and explore livelihood opportunities and flourish without discrimination. Through improving life by promoting and facilitating access to formal education for the children with disabilities. Supporting access to assistive devices/aid and facilities for adult and children with disabilities,
enabling linkage to rehabilitation/medical care and provision of psychosocial support via home visits. The foundation provide capacity building on Climate change impact and risks while enganging PWD’s in green economy activities and empower them on vocational, entrepreneurship and financial literacy that envisions the best income generation activities. While steering awareness raising campaign and advocacy strategies for the rights of PWD’s and promote legal and policy reforms that foresees the best interest of all persons with disabilities.

Vision Statement
A Tanzanian society whereby the rights of people with disabilities are safeguarded, and they enjoy recognition, dignity and excel to their full potential. The organization envisions long-term inclusive direction and goal that guide women, men, girls, youth and children with disabilities on daily operations.
Mission Statement
Advocating for the reform of discriminatory frameworks, negative socio-economic practices towards people with disabilities and enforcement of inclusive-sensitive approaches benefiting women, men, youth, girls and children with disabilities. In area of promoting access to formal education, linkages to the rehabilitation and medical care/institutions while supporting access of assistive devices/aid. Capacity building on Climate change and green economy, empowerment on vocational, financial literacy and human rights education in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
