Tambua Utu under ‘the right to school programme’ provided 10 wheelchairs to the underprivileged children with disabilities from Moshi Rural District of Kilimanjaro region. The programme main goal is to bring back children with disabilities to school and making formal education accessible to them, the programme is supporting poor families with children with disabilities to access facilities and rehabilitation services for their children to go to school. Tambua Utu in partnership with CCBRT (Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Tanzania) provided rehabilitation and medical services to these children based on individual condition followed by fitting and distribution of the wheelchairs.
