Tambua Utu Foundation Releases Quarter Two Report (April–June 2026)

Tambua Utu Foundation is pleased to share its Quarter Two Report, highlighting the progress made between April and June 2026 in advancing disability inclusion, rehabilitation, education and community empowerment across northern Tanzania.

This quarter marked an important period of growth as the Foundation expanded access to assistive devices, therapy services and educational support for children with disabilities while strengthening partnerships with local and international supporters. Through these collective efforts, more children and families gained access to opportunities that promote dignity, independence and inclusion.

A major milestone during the quarter was the successful completion of the “From Home to Hope: 40 Wheelchairs for 40 Children” fundraising campaign, which reached its USD 6,000 target. The campaign will enable the provision of 40  wheelchairs for children with disabilities, with distribution taking place during the second half of 2026.

The Foundation was also honored to host representatives from Lotus Humanitarian and She Dares to Wander, who visited Tambua Utu Foundation to observe therapy sessions, wheelchair assessments and fittings, and engage with children and caregivers. Their generous support included 16 wheelchairs, walkers, 17 white canes, sensory toys, walking sticks and nutritional formula, significantly expanding access to essential assistive devices and rehabilitation services.

We invite our partners, supporters and community members to read the full report and learn how their support is transforming lives and creating more inclusive communities. Together, we continue to recognize dignity, promote equal opportunities and ensure that no child with a disability is left behind.
